The Seven Powers of Purpose

Purpose is the reason for the existence of a thing. Purpose is the intent that GOD had for something to exist. Purpose is the end or the conclusion for something to begin; and everything under heaven has a purpose. Nothing exist that GOD made that does not have a purpose for HIM making it.

There's seven powers of purpose:
(I'll start by giving you the first two. The remainder will come in the following weeks.)
The Power of Creativity
  • You are the creative expression of GOD in the earth.
  • You are created in the image, likeness, similitude and fashion of GOD.
  • GOD is the creator, therefore creativity must be in you. In a crisis your creativity flows and you are known for the problems you solve. You are also known for the problems you run away from....but that becomes your choice. So ask yourself, what am I known for?
The Power of Love
    • What else would you call a power that creates life, supports life, embraces life, encourages life; and even raises life from the dead, if not love?
    • GOD is love and you are HIS creation of love; therefore you can and will love like GOD.
    • GOD's love is the most powerful energy that exist in Heaven and Earth, and yet it still remains the most untapped and the most unknown energy by many.

    Purpose and Time

Life cannot be measured by length of days. According to the word of GOD, everything has a purpose and a time and a season. Not only everything, but everyone. If you are birthed into the earth, you came from somewhere, for some reason, to do something.

Purpose is defined as the reason for the existence of a thing; the cause for something to exist. So for something to exist, with it having a purpose to exist, means that it did not just start. If it started, there is a reason for its existence. Think about it! Everything you intend to do, you think about what the finish is, and then you begin to do or to work on your finish.

So when did your finish start? You concluded what you wanted to do, then you began what you concluded. So it is with GOD! So it is with your manifestation in the earth! GOD purposed you, HE had a reason for your existence, then HE began you with a plan for your finish. Time is an interruption in eternity. In other words, GOD stops eternity from "everlasting to everlasting," and HE inserted time with a start and finish. That's what time is; time has a start and time has an end.

GOD purposes something before HE starts something; then HE gives that purpose a time to be fully developed. We call it to be glorified. Glory is the time when something is in its full maturity. Our purpose here on earth has a time attached to it. Where are you with your purpose and how much time do you have left?

    The Process

According Isaiah 46:10, GOD declares the end of a thing at the beginning. In other words if GOD starts something, HE does not start something to start it, HE only starts what's finished. GOD never looks at our past and remind us where we come from. HE looks at our future or our finish and informs us of where we're going. GOD works on finished products.

Philippians tells us that the work HE began, HE will finish. We can say it this way, HE has finished what HE begins. Can you identify anything in your life, from your birth to this moment of reading this blog, where GOD started something in you? You may not know where you are in the process on the way to your finish, but you can identify somewhere in your life GOD started something. That's enough for you to know b/c of HIS consistent nature that you are a finished product; so do not be discouraged, discontented, or frustrated with the process.

The proof of this is in the life of Joseph(Genesis chapters 37-41). GOD never told Joseph the process, HE only showed him the finish.  If GOD were to show us the process, we would tell HIM never mind. Think about it! Joseph had to be rejected by his family (process), thrown into a pit (process), sold down into Egypt as a slave(process), lied on by the Master's wife (process), thrown into solitary confinement in prison (process). And after years of being there, he comes to his dominion as great ruler...he becomes what GOD showed HIM when he started. GOD showed him his finish, but he never told him the process.

So you see you may not know where you are, you feel like it's all for naught, and all that has been done against you is wrong. And you may even question, where is God in all of this? I like to say to you, you didn't pick GOD, HE picked you and you're on your way to your wealthy place. HE never tells us how HE finishes us, HE only keeps telling us we are a finished product.

    Dominion is calling you!

    Stop Blaming God

Genesis 1:26, I believe is one the most, if not the most, powerful scripture in the Bible. It says, GOD said, "Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness, after OUR kind; and let THEM have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowls of the air, and over every creeping thing upon the face of the earth." In other words, GOD made man after HIS kind and gave mankind the dominion in earth and over the earth so that man can share in domination like his GOD dominates heaven.

The interesting truth about this is GOD did not say let US have dominion, but let them have dominion. God withdrew Himself from earth's dominion, while religion is still trying to make God responsible for earth's destruction, abuses, and tragedies when HE gave the dominion to us.

So we have the potential to rule the earth, to bring it back to a place where none suffers lack, but we cannot do it without asking GOD for help. What is going on in your life that you're trying to conquer without GOD?

Having dominion given to me by GOD means that GOD cannot interfere without my
permission. GOD limited HIS involvement in earth's affairs, so until you and I go back to GOD and say to HIM will you help me? Only then can HE legally interfere with what you've been blaming HIM for.
